Kerala Cabinet approves 5-Year Plan for LSGLs
Thiruvananthapuram : The Kerala Cabinet today approved five-year plans for fund utilisation in local bodies in the state. Briefing mediapersons on cabinet decisions here, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said the Government has approved a recommendation to implement five-year plans for Three-Tire Panchayths from 12th plan onwards.
A Technical Advisory Group will be dissolved to ease the work flow and also to avoid the delay in implementing the projects.
Technical officers should submit the project report for approval from senior officers.
An appellate authority comprising District Collector, District Panchayath President, District Planning Officer, LSG Deputy Director and Urban Affairs Officer will be formed to take care of complaints and shortcomings and to ensure that the projects are completed in a time bound manner.

Kerala is going to set up internal vigilance in Registration department
Kottayam: Kerala Government has decided to set up an internal vigilance wing with a view to making Registration Department more transparent, Minister for Food, Public Distribution and Registration Anoop Jacob said today.
Addressing a meet-the-press programme here, he said many complaints were received due to the existence of a few corrupt officials in the department. The department should be customer-friendly and for that facility of e-payment and single window clearance of documents would be implemented, he said.

The basic educational qualification for the post of reserve driver and conductor in KSRTC will be changed from next notification . Kerala cabinet sanctioned 7% DA for state employees
The cabinet meeting held on wednesday decided to sanction an additional installment of 7%DA to the govt employees and teachers. The DA will be paid with effect from January 2012 as in the case of central govt employees.
As per this decision the employees DA will be increased to 38 %.There will be a increase from Rs.600 to Rs.3250 to employees as a result of this increased DA.

SECC data entry operators remuneration reduced
Wide spread complaint that the SECC data entry operators remuneration reduced to Rs.5000. As per a new direction the remuneration will be based on the number of entry . Earlier the authorities have ensured Rs. 7000 as remuneration . They also offered it would be given within fifteen days after the survey. But now the fixed remuneration rate is changed to entry base ie one who enter more than 2000 persons data will get Rs.2.5 per entry,1501-2000 entry will get Rs.2.7 per entry and below 1500 entry will get Rs.3 per entry. In addition to this the DEO s will get TA 1000,750 and 600 respectively.

VEO's marriage - attended staffs were transfered
Ithikkara. Due to Block presidents complaint that some employees have attacked him, one of the staffs in the block was transferred. Report says that other officials will be transferred soon.
All the block officials except three block staffs attended one of the VEO's marriage last friday. That time two of the block members came for their honorarium.But the staffs including HC were absent at that time.They complainted to the president and he gave direction to mark absent for all except those present in the office.

Complaint by senior no basis to punish govt officials -CAT
New Delhi. A govt official can not be punished on the basis of a mere complaint by his senior unless the allegations are proved as per the principles of natural justice , the central administrative tribunal has said.

Anomali committe's recommendation - some posts salary may be lowered
TVM. Basic pay of some category like LDC in various department may be reduced in the next pay revision based on the anomaly rectification cell's suggestion . Anomaly rectification cell suggested to govt that the ' the anomalies created due to undue and unexplainable hike given to certain categories of employees may be rectified at the next say revision , and this could be included in the terms of reference of the next pay revision commission.' . These statement about 9th pay revision was included in the recently issued order (GO(P)no.193/2012/(60)/fin dated 29 march 2012) to hike the salary of higher officials in AG's office,KPSC and secretariat services.

Private hospital nurses issues- Dr.Balaraman committee submitted report
Thiruvananthapuram.Dr. Balaraman committee studying the nursing sector in the state submitted its report to government. The committee has recomended huge hike in the salary of nurses in private hospitals. The report has been prepared after collecting evidences from hospital managements and nurses across the state.
The committee propose Rs.12,900 for staff nurses,Rs.13,650 for senior staff nurses and Rs.15,180 for head nurses as basic salary.As per the report deputy nursing sup. will get Rs.17,740 and nursing sup. Get Rs.19740 as basic salary .Nursing officer get the highest basic pay Rs.21,360.Committee propose this salary after studying the present salary in govt hospitals in the state.Now Rs.13,900 is the basic pay of govt nurses.committee propose net allowance, risk allowance and overtime for the employees. Committee offers 8 hour duty per day and 48 hr/week. Committee also proposes three shift system in hospitals and casual leave ,annual leave ,sick leave and compensatory leave for nurses.
As a reply to the committe's report health minister V.S.Sivakumar said that the govt would study the report and took action immediatly.

Get Rs.19740 as basic salary .Nursing officer get the highest basic pay Rs.21,360.Committee propose this salary after studying the present salary in govt hospitals in the state.Now Rs.13,900 is the basic pay of govt nurses.committee propose net allowance, risk allowance and overtime for the employees. Committee offers 8 hour duty per day and 48 hr/week. Committee also proposes three shift system in hospitals and casual leave ,annual leave ,sick leave and compensatory leave for nurses.
As a reply to the committe's report health minister V.S.Sivakumar said that the govt would study the report and took action immediatly.
Govt published new BPL criteria
Kerala Govt decided to delete and include certain categories in the BPL list published in January 2011. As per this order cancer and kidney patients will be included in the modified BPL list. 0

CBSE CLASS 10th result 2012
CBSE tenth result 2012 march will likely to be announced in second week of may. This time CBSE will declare the class 10th result before plus two results.More than ten lakh students are waiting for the result.Report says that the valuation is progressing in various centers across the country.
