Tripunithura: It is utmost important that the dairy farmers in the state be included in NREGS and necessary steps would be taken to include them in the scheme, said CM. He was speaking at the function of developing the Milma dairy at Thripunithura
NREGS is one of the social schemes launched that benefitted mass. One of the drawbacks is that it is not linked to production. Government always supports the people engaged in the dairy field. Not only in the case of dairy but for all essential commodities the state can achieve self-sufficiency, said CM and added that if there is effort form our side the state could achieve this within two years.
